Ensure employees can manage a medical emergency safely and comfortably by enrolling them on the emergency first aid at work course. Upon completion of this 6-hour Ofqual regulated course, candidates will be able to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Deal with an unresponsive breathing casualty (top-to-toe survey and recovery position)
- Deal with a non-breathing casualty (CPR and chain of survival)
- Safely use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from;
- choking, external bleeding, burns, shock, seizures, minor injuries
